THE Wind

Some of you may recall levels of temperature in Australia (hot, very hot and f...hot ) . I believe we may create the similar wind scale here in Patagonia. The only difference is that the 3rd level is permanent... If you would like to get some of our driving experience at home please try the following:

- take two pieces of plywood 2x3m and 3x7m

- mount it vertically to your car ( smaller at the front, bigger at the right side )

- wait for the 50-70km wind

- find the gravel road 

- drive ( you may ask friendly truck owner to drive in front of you ) 

- I wish you good luck and a lot of fun . 

I don't need to add that whatever direction you decide the Murrphy's rule works and you will have only head or side wind  never on you back ! It is more about sailing than driving in Patagania .

Anyway we have reached our final south destination in Argentina city called Ushaya ( close to Cape Horn :) ) . Unbelievable place, with blue water, high mountains, white glaciers and the first green trees we could see in last 10 days. 

Food - it is a beef country for sure,  in a city located at the fiord they have only one fish shop open from 9;30-12.00 and 17;00-19;00 . At the same time it is the richest place in Argentina in terms of fish spices. Restaurants - we do not recommend at all, food for tourists, not great and very expensive ( glass of fresh orange juice - 10$ ), but you can buy all components and cook yourself  - what we do ! 

On our way to Torres del Pine ( Glaciers Kingdom ) where we plan to stay for a couple of days. 

It is my lucky day today as they had diesel at the petrol station, no need to sleep here and wait for delivery. 

but they didn't have too much space at the camping at Puerto Natales ...
