I think we are in Australia, not 100% sure as we started 21st at 9.15 am from Honolulu and landed 23rd at 1.40 am in Darwin so our brains getting crazy a little, but the high number of strange animals jumping like account manager with the PO in hands confirms the final destination. Welcome thunderstorm in Sydney delayed our arrival to Darwin and cost us the first night in the car. It initiated delicate discussion about planning our steps or not, but early morning scrambled eggs with bacon, fresh coffee and shower in the middle of nowhere saved my life. Kakadu National Park basically landscape of contrasts, sweet waters with lotus flowers, saltwater crocodiles, waterfalls cascades ( even now end of the dry season ), thousands of birds and Aboriginal rocks with art ( 2000 years plus paintings on the rocks ). I am not sure if any photos can really pass what we have seen here , but we did our best taking as many photos as possible. We have just arrived to Katherine ( Nitmiluk National Park ) where we stay at the camp with ‘jumpers’ , but after cats ( smelt like a .. ) and chickens ( 5 o’clock wake up …. kukuryku … ) the next occupied camp is really peanut for us. Let’s see what tomorrow can bring as we plan to rent a kayak and discover one of the local rivers here.
Aborigines, sad subject after couple of days experience, almost not visible during a day, but ‘occupying’ city a little bit like savages in the evening … very sad honestly.
