Tongariro and Wellington

So we are NOT retired yet, almost 20km hike between 3 active volcanoes in one day, beautiful weather, excellent views just superb ! Please have a look at the link below:

We have just arrived to Wellington and wait for a ferry to South Island. We are sitting at Starbucks, drinking coffee and hot chocolate and observe people crossing streets now. It's chilli here ( around 18C , but heavy cold wind ), some people are in t-shirts and flip flaps some in the down jackets... funny people. Xmas everywhere, but somehow we don't feel part of it.
