Back to the concrete world
So after really relaxing couple of days at Ubud we have just arrived to Honk Kong. What I can say, it’s a mixture of glass, concrete, aluminium , lights and … bamboo, street made food, night markets for tourists ( with Rolex, TAG, etc. at the peanut price or tons of gold and diamonds at the market price ) and the longest escalator I have ever used ( I think almost 2 km ). Our room here is only a little bit bigger than our bed, but it does not meant that we have a king size one ! We cannot pass each other in the room so spending all days walking in the city. Every square cm is very expensive in HK so we feel surrounded by the highest tower blocks. City is located at the couple of hilly islands and looks great especially at night, a lot of colourful neon lights, lasers on the top of highest buildings and millions of Chinese cooking, selling, buying on the streets. We cannot say much about daily hours as smog from China ( it’s what locals told us ) is so heavy that visibility is limited and we are forced to make shopping and eat strange things all day. Next step is Bangkok so it’s time for the last part of our trip – Thailand and Laos.
I've never really fancied hong kong, but thailand - yes! that would be a fantastic place to go! the pics are brilliant - I don't need to travel hardly anywhere now :)
